Uses and Characteristics
This product is used in the production of autoclaved aerated concrete. It provides effective calcium oxide for cement mixtures, enabling it to react with SiO2 and Al2O3 in siliceous materials under hydrothermal conditions to generate hydrated calcium silicate, which is one of the main sources of strength in aerated bricks.
Physicochemical Properties
Advantages include high effective calcium oxide content, suitable slaking time, high slaking temperature, and good water absorption. The resulting aerated bricks are crack-free, do not collapse in the mold, have high strength, and are of stable quality.
