Product Features

This product is used in the high-grade organic chemical synthesis of cyclohexylamine, glyphosate, calcium-based grease, calcium stearate, calcium cyclohexanate, and calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. This product has a high effective calcium hydroxide content, reaching approximately 97%, with good whiteness (whiteness > 96 degrees). The fineness is controlled with a D50 particle size of less than 5μm. The harmful metal content is low, and SGS testing shows it is far below the requirements of the RoHS directive.

Uses and Characteristics

This product is used in the synthesis of high-grade organic chemicals such as cyclohexane chloropropane, glyphosate, calcium-based lubricating grease, calcium stearate, calcium cyclohexanate, and calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. This product has a high effective calcium hydroxide content, reaching approximately 97%, good whiteness (whiteness > 96°). The fineness is fine, with a D50 particle size controlled within 5μm; the harmful metal content is low, and according to SGS testing, it is far below the requirements of the RoHS directive.

Physicochemical Properties

Fine white powder, density 2.24, bulk density 0.6-0.4, loses water to become calcium oxide at 580℃, gradually absorbs carbon dioxide in the air to become calcium carbonate, dissolves in acid, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, corrosive, and highly hygroscopic.
